True Echo VR is now located inside of 3rd St Market Hall! We couldn’t ask for a better location. We’re just steps away from over 20 different food vendors, the bar and self-serve wall, and other games including bags, Jenga, shuffleboard and golf simulator suites.
Online bookings are for 45 minute sessions which will include a fully hosted VR session with practice time, 2-3 games, and plenty of time for pictures after the session. We also take walk-ins on a per-game basis when there isn’t an online booking, but if you’re coming just for the VR it’s best to reserve your timeslot ahead of time! Game options include a kitchen game called Cook’d Up (similar to Overcooked), a zombies game called Dead Ahead, and a bow & arrow game called Arrowsong. So far, zombies and cooking have been the favorites.
We also can hold events for up to 18 people! For corporate events, birthday parties, bachelor/ette parties and more, we can hold 90 minute sessions where everyone is guaranteed at least 2 games.
Park in the attached parking garage off Michigan Ave (between 2nd and 3rd St) for only $3 for 3 hours, and find us past the Pho spot towards Kohls.

Online bookings are scheduled in 45-minute sessions and include a fully hosted free-roam virtual reality experience. You’ll get practice time, 2–3 games, and time afterward for photos and reactions (which tend to be half the fun). Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, but if VR is the main reason you’re visiting, reserving a time slot ahead of time is recommended.
Game options rotate, but current favorites include a cooperative cooking challenge called Cook’d Up, a zombie survival experience called Dead Ahead, and a bow-and-arrow fantasy adventure called Arrowsong. True Echo VR also hosts private events for groups of up to 18 people. Parking is available in the attached garage off Michigan Ave (between 2nd and 3rd St), and the arena is located inside the market hall past the Pho vendor toward the Kohl’s side.
