True Echo VR: From Entertainment to Industrial AR/VR
True Echo VR started with a simple goal: build immersive experiences people couldn’t get anywhere else.
For years, that meant entertainment. We built and operated multiplayer VR experiences, experimented with immersive environments, and learned firsthand what makes spatial technology intuitive, engaging, and useful.
Today, we’re applying those lessons to a much bigger problem: helping manufacturers train employees, troubleshoot complex equipment, and transfer technical knowledge more effectively.
True Echo VR is now focused on AR/VR software development for manufacturing and industrial service teams. Our work currently spans two areas: custom VR training and an AI-powered troubleshooting platform.
VR Training for the Manufacturing Floor
Our VR development work turns real-world procedures into repeatable simulations for employee training, onboarding, safety procedures, equipment operation, and standard-work walkthroughs. We can also create interactive 3D environments for facility walkthroughs, product demonstrations, and other industrial use cases.
The goal isn’t to use VR simply because it’s immersive. It’s to give employees a place to learn and practice before mistakes happen on real equipment.
Building a Better Way to Troubleshoot Equipment
Our larger product focus is TEVR Troubleshooting, an AI-powered software layer designed to put equipment knowledge directly in front of the technician who needs it.
A technician can scan a QR code on a machine and access its manuals, equipment data, and service history from an AR headset, tablet, or phone. They can describe a problem or enter an error code, and the AI searches the relevant documentation and previous diagnostic history to help identify likely causes and next steps.
On an AR headset, guidance can also be spatially anchored to the equipment itself, highlighting components in the technician’s field of view. The platform includes live Microsoft Teams escalation when a remote expert is still needed.
Underneath the system is a retrieval-augmented generation platform designed specifically for equipment troubleshooting. Answers can be grounded directly in manufacturer documentation, labeled by confidence level, and improved over time as resolved cases become part of the machine’s diagnostic history.
The Next Chapter for True Echo VR
This is a major shift for True Echo VR, but it isn’t a complete departure from where we started.
Entertainment taught us how to build immersive software, work with headsets and spatial interfaces, and design experiences that people can actually understand and use. Now we’re taking that experience into an industry where the value of immersive technology can be measured in faster training, less troubleshooting time, better knowledge transfer, and reduced equipment downtime. Our Founder, Mitchell Schweda, worked for 6 years as a mechanical engineer where he designed cranes for nuclear power plants, so the pivot to manufacturing is natural.
The TEVR Troubleshooting prototype is complete, and we’re currently recruiting a small number of manufacturers and equipment service teams for paid pilots on real equipment.

Milwaukee, WI — May 7, 2026 — True Echo VR is excited to announce the launch of its newest premium virtual reality experience, Parvus Box, an size-bending VR escape room debuting on May 7, 2026.
In the Parvus Box escape room, you’ve volunteered for Professor Parvus’s latest experiment, a shrinking device. The experiment doesn’t run as expected. You’ve shrunk, but you find yourselves in unexpected everyday environments. Solve the puzzles and unlock the mystery of The Parvus Box.
“Parvus Box represents the next level of what we can offer,” said Mitchell Schweda, founder of True Echo VR. “We wanted to offer something deeper and more collaborative. Plus with a VR escape room, you can do things that just aren’t possible in a real physical escape room.”
Built for groups looking for a more premium experience, Parvus Box expands True Echo VR’s offerings beyond fast-paced mini-games into longer-form, story-driven gameplay. Players will explore richly designed environments, uncover hidden clues, and race against the clock to escape before time runs out.

If you’re searching for fun things to do in Milwaukee, True Echo VR is a unique group experience located right inside 3rd St. Market Hall. It’s hard to beat the convenience — you’re just steps away from 20+ food vendors, a full bar and self-serve wall, plus other activities like bags, Jenga, shuffleboard, and golf simulator suites. It makes for an easy night out where everything is in one place.
Online bookings are scheduled in 45-minute sessions and include a fully hosted free-roam virtual reality experience. You’ll get practice time, 2–3 games, and time afterward for photos and reactions (which tend to be half the fun). Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, but if VR is the main reason you’re visiting, reserving a time slot ahead of time is recommended.
Game options rotate, but current favorites include a cooperative cooking challenge called Cook’d Up, a zombie survival experience called Dead Ahead, and a bow-and-arrow fantasy adventure called Arrowsong. Whether you’re competing or working together, the focus is on shared laughs, teamwork, and something memorable — a big reason VR has become one of the more talked-about indoor activities in Milwaukee.

True Echo VR is now located inside of 3rd St Market Hall! We couldn’t ask for a better location. We’re just steps away from over 20 different food vendors, the bar and self-serve wall, and other games including bags, Jenga, shuffleboard and golf simulator suites.
Online bookings are for 45 minute sessions which will include a fully hosted VR session with practice time, 2-3 games, and plenty of time for pictures after the session. We also take walk-ins on a per-game basis when there isn’t an online booking, but if you’re coming just for the VR it’s best to reserve your timeslot ahead of time! Our Milwaukee venue is closed for now, so online booking is unavailable.
Game options include a kitchen game called Cook’d Up (similar to Overcooked), a zombies game called Dead Ahead, and a bow & arrow game called Arrowsong. So far, zombies and cooking have been the favorites.
We also can hold events for up to 18 people! For corporate events, birthday parties, bachelor/ette parties and more, we can hold 90 minute sessions where everyone is guaranteed at least 2 games.
Park in the attached parking garage off Michigan Ave (between 2nd and 3rd St) for only $3 for 3 hours, and find us past the Pho spot towards Kohls.
